Considering I've only been blogging for a few months, its an honour to be nominated.

11 Facts About Me 

1. I  was born 6 weeks premature - I only weighed 2.5lbs 
2. I had my jaw broken twice to get all 4 wisdom teeth out 
3. Red is my favourite colour
4. I despise green peas 
5. I love cartoons - Frozen and Lion King are my favourites 
6. I like to do a 10K weekly - haven't managed it as much in the last couple of months 
7. I currently have 6 tattoos - I got 4 of them in 1 month 
8. I was involved in a hit and run on a zebra crossing - The driver drove off 
9. I love all of Dan Brown's Books 
10. I didn't watch Lord of the Rings and The Godfather films until last year

1. Too wet or too dry? Not sure if we are talking about weather here..lol i.e. Too rainy or too sunny. If that's the case i will go with too sunny.
2. If you could choose to live in any time period, which would you choose? The 1920's as its when Jazz occurred.
3. Main course or Dessert? Dessert
4. Are you more curious about whats in the deepest part of the ocean or outer space? The ocean - I would like to see all the different types of sea life.
5. Have you ever tried to bake a cake from those 2 minute videos that make it look easy but then it wasn't? Unfortunately, I haven't.
6. Whats the most useless things you ever bought? Sorry folks, I actually don't know. I'm not saying I probably haven't, I just can't think of anything.
7. Would you rather travel to sunny beaches on interesting cities? I think now, I would have to say interesting cities, I'm liking seeing what other places have to offer.
8. What skill do you want the most to possess? Perseverance 
9. Have you ever done something and then instantly regretted it? Yes, told someone a secret and then thought shit, they may actually not keep there mouth shut.
10. Is there something you think needs to be invented? Haagen Daaz ice-cream with zero calories
11. Whats the biggest decision you have ever made? Maybe not so much a decision, but making peace with the fact  that having kids may not be meant for me?

Sods Law

I had no idea, when I started writing this blog if I had what it took to get out 2 posts let alone 20. It would appear that I do😁

After publishing that first post, I hoped I had it in me, but as with all things you take a chance on, I had my doubts. I still do, I'm just not letting them stop me. I mean I've made it this far right? I have downloaded Grammarly, so my posts should no longer look like I left school at the age of 4 and l’ve now shared all of my entries on social media. Exciting times.  I should be doing a “Get in Girl” proud dance on my dining room table. But instead I’m wrapped up in bed with a bloody cold. Fuck you germs, you inconsiderate assholes. Instead of going out for a little celebratory dinner or drink, I'm stuck at home with a tub of Haagen daaz watching Disenchantment on Netflix - Don't get it twisted they're both very good pastimes I'm just saying l’d rather be doing them when my face isn't  watering more than the fountains at Trafalgar Square. I know I should be focussing on the positive rather than the negative, but I’m a brat when I’m ill.

So unfortunately this will not be a long post today, mainly because I don’t want to get snot on my iPad. I just want to say despite feeling like patient zero, I’m super happy that I started writing, proud  that I have made a commitment to it, surprised that it’s given me something to work towards but most importantly its given me a healthy emotional outlet so that punching irritating people in the throat is not my go to. Sooooo progress 😆

Victory is Mine

Shut up, did I actually just create my first blog page all by myself?

I totally understand that creating a blog page as opposed to a post may be a small victory to some, but to this born in 1982 kid, I'm as proud by this, as I would be if I had done a Tony Stark and learnt thermo nuclear astro physics over night. Sooooooooooo yaaaaaaay me.

Isn't it funny how the smallest things can make you super proud.  Normally when I need something done or need to learn something, I ask my brain box sister to research it and then give me what I like to call the "Dummy Version". But I actually sat and learnt (well googled) how to create my first page myself.

 I then saw how to get creative with different themes, backgrounds and layouts. However that will have to wait for another day.  I can get quite engrossed with stuff like that and I have to go back to the place that pays me to turn up for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week tomorrow. 😞 Don't get me wrong I love having a job (I do not do well with too much down time). I have just been questioning how I  feel about this job (note to self, do not give any work colleagues the link to this blog😅) Just kidding.....but not really.  Maybe it isn't the job, maybe its my life and the lack of purpose in it.  Maybe once I am feeling happier within myself, I will feel better about it. (I know right who am I kidding...lool) but as with everything else over the next year, we will sure as hell  find out.

Speaking of being proud, I strapped on my nut sack and sent the link to this blog to 3 friends last night.  So that's 4 people that now know I'm bearing my soul to the world.  I'm going to try letting a few people know at a time and then if I haven't smashed my laptop in frustration from running out of things to write about in 30 days (from my first post) I will add it to my social media pages and then I guess there is no turning back. 

Today is going to be short and sweet as I have exhausted my brain cells with the whole new page lesson and I would like to get in 1 more episode of Grace & Frankie before bed.
